Before hiring a Hot Tub here are a few things to consider...
Indoor or Outdoor Electricity Point? – Our hot tubs need to be plugged in throughout the hire period and come with a 7 metre cable that should be plugged directly into a main power supply to prevent extension leads from tripping out and stopping the pump from heating your spa.
Outside or inside tap? – if you have an outside tap and hose pipe then this is great but if not then do not worry. We have many lots of adapters to fit most home taps, it just means that we will have to run a hose pipe from your kitchen or bathroom taps. It is advised that hot tubs are filled with hot water from inside tap in the very cold weather under 4 degrees - Please contact us before deliery if you do not have an outdoor tap.
Garden Access? – Our inflatable hot tub will fit through any normal sized door, this makes it easier for people to hire a hot tub with no garden access and terraced houses
Suitable Surface – The surface needs to be on a flat area on grass, concrete or patio area. Try and not cut your grass at least 4 days before the date of hire. This helps the hot tub not to get full of grass and bloke the filter. It’s a good idea to jet wash the area. This will prevent dirt from getting into the hot tub and blocking your filter up (Even a quick hose down can help the day before).
How Long To Set Up the Equipment? We will have everything set up in appromimatley 30 > 40 minutes. The hot tub will still take a hour or two to fill to max.
How Long does it take to heat? The Lay Z Spa Helsinki can take 12 > 35 hours to heat and the Lay Z Spa Monaco can take 12 > 40 hours due to its size although we have many adapters than could possibly connect to your indoor hot water supply. Please Contact Us for more informtion on filling with warm water. (Times may vary in the winter months)
Collecting the Equipment? we can have it all packed up and be out of your way within 1 hour. We use a pump to empty the water quickly and into a nearest drain or manhole. We then give the tub a spray down and vacuum pack the hot tub. We will still need to use your electricity to pump the water out ·
Chemicals and instructions? we provide all the chemical and instructions for the hire period we will give you all the information the day of set up.
Gazebo Hire - In the event of winds over 15mph it is the responsibility of the customer to remove the canopy until the winds have passed (we will show you how to do this on setup). If winds are forecast over 24mph throughout the duration of your hire your gazebo maybe cancelled and the hire cost will be reduced accordingly.
